Ina boss fight


Back in the day, Mousey got stuck in this room and eventually ended the playthrough of the game because she hates sliding puzzles. While that did get a chuckle out of me it also did as a game developer, make me sad. 

So, as we continue development in Ephemerium: Unreality - Redux, I elected to make what happens in this room more exciting but at the same time less taxing on the mind by entirely removing the puzzle and instead having an encounter with the WA priestess herself, Ninomae Ina'nis. 

It would be easy to program straight up projectiles, but to come up with a boss design that is different from the other encounters in the game is a different beast altogether. For designing Ina's boss fight I'll be pulling a lot of inspiration from Bloodborne, the greatest Eldritch / Lovecraftian game ever made.
